College credit acceptance policies are a set of guidelines and regulations established by educational institutions to determine which courses, examinations, and/or prior learning experiences will be recognized to grant college credit. These policies enable students to maximize their professional and previous educational experience to potentially reduce the number of courses taken within a program.
