Waitlist Policy

When a course meets its maximum registration capacity, students are given the option to add themselves to a waitlist. Once added to the waitlist, if a seat in the course becomes available, the student will receive an email to their Walsh College email account letting them know that they have 24 hours to register for the open seat. Once the 24-hour period expires, the student is dropped from the waitlist and must add themselves back on if they want another opportunity to get a seat in the course. Students can manage their waitlists in the “Registration and Student Planning” link on the Registration card in the Walsh College Student Portal. All waitlists are ended approximately seven days prior to the term beginning. Students on a waitlist at that time will be notified through their Walsh College email that the waitlist has ended, and any seats that may become available are registered for on a first come, first serve basis.
