The mission of the Accounting and Taxation Student Organization (ATSO) is to build relationships between students, alumni, and business professionals through networking opportunities and philanthropic outreach. Delta Mu Delta is an international honor society in business administration that recognizes and encourages academic excellence. Founded in 1913 by a distinguished group of professors led by the Dean of Harvard University, Delta Mu Delta membership provides academic recognition for a lifetime.
The Gamma Eta chapter of Delta Mu Delta was established at Walsh in 1976, becoming the 79th chapter nationwide. Membership is by invitation only. Four times a year, qualifying students are mailed an invitation to join. In order to qualify, candidates must first achieve the required GPA (3.300 for bachelor’s and 3.600 for master’s), and then fall within the top 20 percent of the GPA in their class.
