Admission on a Student Visa

Any individual seeking admission to Walsh College as an international student on an F-1 Student Visa must meet the general admission requirements for bachelor's, master's, or doctoral degree programs and required F1 International Student Packet documents must be received.

  • The online admissions application must be submitted along with the non-refundable application fee.
  • All application materials and required F-1 international student documents must be received to process an application for admission.
  • The F-1 international documents include official statements of financial support through personal and sponsored support.
  • The required F1 international materials must be received at least eight weeks prior to the first date of the semester for which the applicant is seeking admission.
  • Only upon full admission to Walsh College will the international student advisor/Designated School Official (DSO) issue an I-20.
  • Students attending on a F-1 student visa must purchase health insurance through Walsh College or provide proof of personal coverage.
  • Students must arrange for their own living accommodations and transportation to and from locations. Walsh College does not offer residential facilities or transportation to classes.
