STATISTICAL INFERENCE FOR MANAGEMENT DECISIONS
Building upon the content of
QM 202
, this course focuses upon data interpretation through the use of inferential statistics. By the end of the course, each student will demonstrate the ability to select and use inferential statistical tools to analyze a variety of datasets from varying business-based application settings, and will justify, report, and interpret the results of such analyses. Students will apply these skills to critique and interpret research reports that are represented within business literature from various business settings. Students will also be introduced to quantitative methods involving differing probability distributions that require the use of less typical data analysis tools.
