Barnes and Noble has partnered with Walsh to provide bookstore services. The bookstore is located at the Troy location. The bookstore carries books for all locations including online classes. The store also offers spirit clothing, school supplies, and gift items. Information on textbook buyback, last day to use financial aid in the bookstore, extended hours, special events, and other useful information can be found at www.walshcollege.bncollege.com.
For the convenience of all Walsh students, Barnes and Noble has established a website, located at www.walshcollege.bncollege.com. Students may have books delivered to the Troy location free of charge, or shipped to their home or office (no P.O. boxes) for a small additional fee. Shipping delays may occur. If digital options are available, they will be listed on the bookstore website and are fulfilled electronically. Textbooks can also be paid for via financial aid or direct bill to employers on the website or in the store. Students who use these payment methods must contact the Troy bookstore in advance of placing an order.
Book buy-back dates for best prices will be posted each semester on the bookstore website www.walshcollege.bncollege.com) and in store. Textbooks selected by Walsh instructors for use in the upcoming semester will be purchased from Walsh students at approximately 50 percent of the retail price until inventory requirements are met. Books brought in for buy-back after the stores’ needs are met will be purchased at current wholesale prices. The bookstore provides wholesale book buy-back year-round. This service allows students to sell books even though they are not needed by Walsh locations. Prices paid under this program are determined by market forces and are set by the wholesale company. A driver’s license or state ID is required to utilize book buy-back.
The bookstore offers rental of new, used, and digital textbooks. Renting textbooks saves students on average 50% when compared to a new, printed textbook. Rentals must be secured with a credit card but, can be purchased using any form of payment. The rental due date is always on the last day of the semester. Rentals can be shipped back free of charge using our rental return label by the rental due date.
