Information security systems are only as good as their weakest link. The threats facing an organization can come from malicious attacks, mistakes, and acts of nature. As the dependence on technology grows, the need for planning on how an organization can recover quickly from interruptions is an essential role for technology leaders. This course will focus on the processes, tools and techniques needed to provide for business continuity and recovery in the event of an outage. It is important that technology leaders prepare for these types of interruptions and build resilience and redundancy into their systems. This course will review the various methods to achieve a resilient security posture. Lastly, when a crisis occurs the first reaction is often chaos.
